PrimeCare Community Health (PrimeCare) is a federally qualified community health center (FQHC) that provides quality, affordable care to medically underserved populations on Chicago’s West and Northwest sides. Over its 26-year history, PrimeCare has built a community-inspired, nationally recognized health center system that provides comprehensive family medical, behavioral health, and dental care at its eight accessible locations. Our care includes services for adults, seniors, women and children, as well as prenatal health services, behavioral health counseling and case management, medically assisted treatment for opioid dependency, and preventive and basic restorative oral health, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the key management leader responsible for the development and oversight of the leadership team, as well as the overall administrative, programmatic, and strategic plans of the organization. The CEO exercises oversight of PrimeCare’s Mission & Strategy, Operations, Financial Performance, and Board Governance.
Key responsibilities include: close collaboration with PrimeCare’s leadership team, as well as the Board of Directors; exhibition of the qualities described in the mission and values of PrimeCare, as listed below; promotion of effective, visionary leadership for PrimeCare and all of its operations; development and creation of an organizational strategic plan; knowledge of fiscal responsibilities; and the building of strong strategic partnerships with community, corporate, and government leaders.
