Opportunity for an administrative professional to make an impact in a highly regarded medical group in Northern California, located between San Francisco and Sacramento and 30 minutes from Napa wine country.

Responsibilities:

This is a highly visible role that has administrative authority to work across the healthcare system to achieve accountabilities in concert with the AVP of Neuroscience Service Line. This position will oversee all neuroscience, spine and pain management delivered within the ambulatory setting.

The Director of the Center of Neurosciences, Spine Program and Pain Management is financially savvy, willing to assume new responsibilities, accept accountability, build positive, collaborative relationships and operate effectively within various environments. This position facilitates system and community wide integration and growth of the service line. The Director works collaboratively with the provider team in a physician/provider-administrator dyad model and is responsible for their team’s participation in care delivered across the entire continuum. This includes leadership of the ambulatory care team within the clinic and inpatient setting. The Director of the Center of Neurosciences, Spine Program and Pain Management develops operational efficiencies within the ambulatory setting while setting strategic vision, goals, and objectives for the service line. This includes business development, growth and quality aligning with the system strategy. This position drives improvement in quality, safety and patient experience, as well as care access. This position fosters positive, collaborative relationships internally, as well as with community physicians, providers, administrators and institutions in support of the Neuroscience, Spine and Pain Management service line strategy.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master’s degree required or Bachelors in business administration or health care related program required with eight years of management experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 year of progressive ambulatory management with at least 3 year of experience in Neurosciences Service lines.
  • Skills: Microsoft Word, Outlook and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Must possess teaching and leadership ability, with high professional standards. Must be well organized, be able to set priorities, work independently and is an effective team member. Word Processing skills required. Demonstrates effective time management skills. Must demonstrate and maintain current knowledge of pain management and healthcare trends, LEAN and healthcare regulatory and compliance initiatives. Knowledge of Cerner preferred.
