Note: This position will float in our South Region, which include facilities in SeaTac, Tacoma, Olympia and Silverdale, WA.

Our Nursing Home Services Division is passionate and committed to maintaining high quality care for older adults. We have established partnerships with a select number of facilities in the Puget Sound Region to provide a continuum of care that achieves excellence in quality measures, patient/family satisfaction, along with clinical and utilization outcomes (including re-hospitalization). We provide care from Olympia to Everett, and Issaquah to Silverdale
Kaiser Permanente ARNPs provide medical management of patients during skilled/Medicare Part A or subacute stays, as well as long term care/residential stays in skilled nursing facilities in a team based model.
Minimum: Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
Preferred: Master’s Degree with geriatric or acute care specialization
Minimum: Advanced geriatric clinical expertise in acute and chronic health problems. Strong problem solving/decision making skills.
Minimum 1-year of geriatric clinical experience as a nurse practitioner managing acute and chronic complex medical issues and coordinating care across the continuum.
Preferred: 1-year or more of clinical practice in skilled or long term care settings.
Minimum: At time of hire Washington State RN and ARNP license. ANCC certification as Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult Nurse Practitioner, Gerontological or Adult-Gerontological Acute Nurse Practitioner. Prescriptive authority. BLS/CPR certification. Active Washington Driver’s license at time of hire.
Preferred: Adult-Gerontological Nurse Practitioner.
