Currently looking for a Full Time ARNP in our Interventional Radiology Clinic. Hours are Monday-Friday with variable hours.

Summary: To provide the highest quality clinical care under the direct or indirect supervision of a Interventional Radiologist.

General Description: The ARNP- IR Clinic must be able to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment in meeting continual deadlines; handle multiple priorities in busy clinics/hospital with constant interruptions; be highly organized to meet deadlines. Interactions with radiologists, other departments within Inland Imaging, patients and family members and outside contacts is key. Must have excellent written, verbal and personal communication skills; be tactful and diplomatic; and be highly confidential. Must make decisions regarding daily work priorities, and other decisions based on company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Primary Duties: Provides appropriate primary care to patients within Interventional Radiology clinic. Performs consultations, history and physicals, orders appropriate diagnostic tests, provides or prescribes appropriate medications, treatments and follow-up care for multiple disease states and triage of patient phone calls. These tasks may be performed independently or under the supervision of a physician in the outpatient clinic as allowed by state licensure and hospital privileging guidelines. Coordinates care with the attending or primary care physician and Interventional Radiologist as patient condition requires, acting as liaison with referring physicians for Neurointerventional and Interventional oncology patients when the IR MD is absent.

Secondary Duties: Provides appropriate care to patients within the inpatient and outpatient setting. Includes hospital admits, discharges, and daily rounds and triage of patient and hospital personnel phone calls as directed by the IR physician. These tasks may be performed independently or under the supervision of a physician in the acute care settings as allowed by state licensure and hospital privileging guidelines. Perform Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, and Cosmetic Sclerotherapy, IV placement and albumin administration as directed and allowed under clinical license.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • There is supervisory responsibility in this position, including collaboration with MA, Nursing and clinic administrative staff.

  • Follows company departmental standards and personnel policies by using good teamwork and communication skills to help identify concerns and solutions, assisting where needed to ensure a smooth functioning department.
  • Performs other duties as required by displaying team spirit and self-growth, accepting and performing other projects and responsibilities, and requesting other projects and responsibilities.

  • Education: Completed an advanced formal education program
  • Licensed as a ARNP in the State of Washington
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to learn new computer applications and utilize in the work environment
  • Ability to consider individual needs in communication with and assessment and treatment of patients of all ages
  • Computer Skills: Experience with the following computer applications is highly desired: Outlook; Kronos; Replicon; Imagecast; Stentor; IDXterm; Flowcast; Allscripts; Web Portals
  • Background Check:
    • Must be able to pass a background check required by RCW 43.43.830-840 to work with children under the age of 16, developmentally disabled persons or vulnerable adults
    • In order to comply with provisions set forth in Sections 1128 and 1156 of the Social Security Act, all new employees of Inland Imaging, LLC will be checked against the LIST OF EXCLUDED INDIVIDUALS provided by the Department of Health & Human Services, Office of the Inspector General (OIG). Employees must not be included on this list.
  • Drug Test: Eligible employees must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test.
