Olympia Urgent Care (UC) is looking for a successful manager to work in our fast-paced UC environment. Our UC operates similar to an emergency setting, with 20 beds and average of 65 patients per day. Our nurses have ICU / Emergency Room background and have a 4:1 patient ratio for taking care of patients ranging from acute MI, sepsis, cardiac arrhythmias, and other urgent conditions. With an emphasis on customer service and team work, you will be overseeing our team of RNs, ER Techs, and HUCs. In this role you will lead, direct and support UC and other departments as part of Kaiser Permanente.
Minimum Education Requirements
Bachelors Degree Nursing
Masters Degree Nursing
Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements
Intermediate Demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor, develop and engage staff, monitor performance standards, deliver results, and hold staff accountable. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Able to prioritize and effectively anticipate and respond to issues as they arise. Effective communication, collaboration and change management skills. Financial management skills.
Intermediate Knowledge of regulatory requirements, managed care, health care delivery systems and nursing practice.
Minimum Experience Requirements
1 year Management or supervisory experience in a clinical environment, including demonstrated success in managing financial resources, identifying and meeting customer requirements, and working effectively with medical staff.
2 years Outpatient operations experience as a nurse.
3 years Management or supervisory experience in a clinical environment, including demonstrated success in managing financial resources, identifying and meeting customer requirements, and working effectively with medical staff.
5 years Increasingly responsible outpatient operations experience as a nurse.
Minimum License/Certifications Requirements
At time of hire Current Washington State Registered Nurse License.
