Structured in a dyad model with the Service Line Medical Administrator, both shall be responsible for the development, management, and operations of assigned Service Line(s) for The MetroHealth System (MHS) in a patient-centric manner. Advises dyad counterpart on those matters involving operational decision making.
Leads the development of strategy and identification, implementation, and execution of tactics resulting in service line development and growth, patient access, value, quality throughout the MetroHealth System. Works collaboratively with MetroHealth leaders and throughout the region to enhance the service line’s capability to deliver a full portfolio of services within the communities it serves in a patient-centric manner. Ensures the service line encompasses the full continuum of care including, inpatient, outpatient, consult, and community services. As Service Line Dyad co-leader, shares responsibility for the administration, direction, and coordination of all activities within the Service Line in accordance with the mission, strategic, and financial goals and objectives of The MetroHealth System. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Master's Degree in business, health, public administration, or related field and 5 years progressively responsible management experience, which encompasses program planning and analysis, financial and operational management in healthcare or healthcare consulting environment. In lieu of Master’s Degree, will accept a Bachelor Degree and 7 years progressively responsible management experience which encompasses program planning and analysis, financial and operational management in healthcare or healthcare consulting environment.
Demonstrated respect, leadership, communication, mentoring, customer service and excellent interpersonal and technological skills required along with experience in working in a team and with multi-disciplinary groups.
Extensive knowledge of budgeting, cost analysis, manpower planning, supervision, and operational analysis.
Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, direct, and evaluate a variety of projects.
Must be willing and able to faithfully and diligently discharge the function of the position.
Progressive management experience in multispecialty group practice environments, especially in academic health care setting.
