A large specialty and sub-specialty radiology group located in Tacoma, WA is looking for an individual to fill a Physician Assistant position. The organization has experienced significant growth and change over the last several years and is now focusing on bringing people, processes, and systems up to speed to manage the growth. Current company size includes 335 employees and 90 physicians within multiple outpatient locations and two hospital systems. The ideal candidate is able to work closely with a group of Interventional Radiologists, other Physician Assistants and colleagues in both inpatient and outpatient settings to support our expanding IR services.

Job Summary:

Primary duties of the Physician Assistant (PA) include assessing, planning and providing patient care under the supervision of a physician. The PA examines patient, performs comprehensive physical examinations, and compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination. May also perform surgical procedures under the supervision of a physician. The PA must also be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the radiology field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Job Qualifications:

May require a master's degree with 2-4 years of related experience, and graduation from an accredited physician assistant program. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to Interventional Radiology. ACLS certification required.
